Is Monero Wallet really non-custodial?+
Yes. Your seed phrase is generated on your device and never leaves it. We have no servers that hold funds or keys.
What happens if I lose my phone?+
Restore your wallet on any device using your 25-word seed phrase. Without the seed, funds cannot be recovered — not by us, not by anyone.
Do I need to create an account?+
No. There is no sign up, no email, no password. Open the app and you are ready.
Which nodes does the app connect to?+
By default, curated community nodes. You can change nodes or point the wallet at your own monerod or zanod at any time in Settings → Network.
Does the app collect any data?+
No. See our Privacy Policy — Apple's App Privacy label for Monero Wallet is 'Data Not Collected.'
